  • Temporary suspension of online sales
  • At our company, due to the record heavy rain in the morning of August 3, flash floods erupted from the mountains behind the hotel, flooding the floors of the banquet hall and restaurant on the first floor from the employee side entrance.Even so, we were able to minimize the damage and continued normal operations, but on August 9th, due to the record heavy rain caused by the linear rain belt that occurred in the Tsugaru region of Aomori Prefecture, in our town The scars of disasters such as flooding, collapse, and sediment runoff have been found one after another on National Route 101, the main arterial road, and railway lines.

On the national highway, due to the restoration work of the landslide near the Senjojiki Beach located on the north side of our town, intrusion of large vehicles was secured, albeit only on one side.
The Kurosaki district, which is located on the south side of our town, is still difficult for large vehicles to pass through, so only general vehicles are guided through the detour route.
In addition, JR lines, the damage to bridge piers was extensive, and a large amount of earth and sand was washed away at railroad crossings.

Under these circumstances, the hotel is still working to ensure safety and security, and while waiting for the restoration of the infrastructure in the area, the staff are working together to operate normally.

Based on the above, in order to support the restoration of infrastructure in the region as soon as possible, we would like to make efforts to secure guest rooms with priority for people involved in restoration activities day and night. We have temporarily suspended online reservations and will only accept reservations by phone.
Depending on the progress in the future, we will resume normal online reservations, so we appreciate your understanding and support.

In response to the news of the heavy rain, we have received many words of encouragement and warm cheers from people all over the country, and all the staff are very encouraged.Thank you very much.

In closing, I would like to express my sympathies to all those affected by the heavy rains and landslides that caused extensive damage in Fukaura Town and other parts of the prefecture and across the country this summer. I pray from the bottom of my heart that life will be restored.
